The hotel offers superb views over open countryside and has good views; however, the dining options were limited. The service was welcoming and provided exceptional service, but there were no tours or ticket assistance available. It is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty with lovely views to the rear. The dining includes tartines, but isn't included in the rate.

The hotel offers stunning countryside views from all windows, and even with the heating fully on, the rooms remain cozy. The service from the staff is exceptional and welcoming, but there seemed to be a lack of interest in providing the minimum service levels. Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, directly off the A259, it's ideal for exploring the surroundings, although access involves steep hills. The dining experience includes locally caught fish but only continental breakfast, which is advertised as included. The facilities are great, with plenty of parking by fields.

The hotel is nestled in a lovely area by a pond, next to a very good pub. The rooms feature a large bathroom with a comfortable bed and dark bare brick walls, making for a cozy stay. While the restaurant was unfortunately closed on my arrival, the ample parking and proximity to the A259 make it ideal for exploring the surroundings.
